Experience Tokyo from Its Tallest Landmark

Book your visit to the Tembo Deck, or explore both decks with the Tembo + Galleria combo for the full panoramic journey.

Take your Tokyo experience to the next level — literally.

Tokyo Skytree is more than a tower — it’s an immersive destination. From glass-floor views and stylish cafés to the exhilarating 4D theater and souvenir shops, it's the perfect mix of culture, height, and fun. Whether you're sightseeing or seeking thrills, Skytree delivers.

HEIGHT

This neo-futuristic tower features a unique design that transitions from a triangular base to a circular form as it rises, reaching a height of 634 meters (2,080 feet) — the tallest structure in Japan. The number 634 was intentionally chosen, as it can be read as “MUSASHI” in Japanese, referencing the historic Musashi Province where Tokyo once stood.

TWO DECKS

The two main observation levels — Tembo Deck at 350m and Tembo Galleria at 450m — stretch across multiple floors. Enjoy interactive displays, themed shops, and incredible views. At 451.2 meters, Sorakara Point offers the tower’s highest accessible view, with unmatched perspectives of Tokyo and beyond.

TEMBO ELEVATOR (SHUTTLE)

The incredible experience of Tokyo SKYTREE starts in the lift.

A high-speed elevator system, the Tembo Shuttle is an attraction on its own. This high-tech elevator will lift you to the Tembo deck for less than a minute. It ascends at an impressive 600 meters per minute, covering the distance of 350 meters in a mere 50 seconds.
To add to the Tokyo SKYTREE’s experience, during the lift to the next platform, the Tembo Shuttle has decorations featuring spring, summer, fall, and winter.
Videos on the ceiling and the elevator’s door show the progress in lifting to 350m. Get your camera ready as soon as the door of the elevator closes.

TEMBO DECK 350m

Tokyo SKYTREE’s Tembo Deck (floors 350, 345, and 340) is the lower of the two main observation levels. It features a glass floor, restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops, a commemorative photo corner — and, of course, breathtaking panoramic views of Tokyo.
Additional amenities include a currency exchange desk, ticket counter, mobile battery rentals, and luggage lockers. The Tembo Deck is also fully accessible and is the highest point in the tower that can be reached by wheelchair.

Tickets can be reserved up to 30 days in advance and no later than 11:59 PM the night before your visit.

TEMBO GALLERY 450m

The Tembo Galleria (floors 445 and 450) is Tokyo SKYTREE’s upper observation deck — the highest point accessible to visitors. A gently sloping spiral walkway leads you to Sorakara Point at 451.2 meters, where special events are often held.
The SKYTREE Archives showcase a visual history of Tokyo through videos and photos, highlighting how the city, its people, and surroundings have evolved over time. Nearby, a high-definition digital telescope offers a stunning view of present-day Tokyo in incredible detail.

Tickets can be reserved up to 30 days in advance and no later than 11:59 PM on the night before your visit.

Tokyo SKYTREE at night

As night falls, the Tower’s lights gradually come to life, changing from a soft blue-white reminiscent of the sky to a warmer golden. This is called “Miyabi” or elegance and symbolizes the connection between traditional Edo (old Tokyo) and modern Tokyo.

Iki (Sky Blue): This is the default nighttime illumination. It represents the modern spirit of Tokyo and the tower’s role as a new landmark.
Miyabi (Champagne Gold): Used in combination with Iki, this warm golden hue symbolizes the connection between traditional Edo culture and contemporary Tokyo.
Sakura (Pink): Displayed during cherry blossom season, typically in late March to early April, celebrating this iconic Japanese cultural event.
Fuyu (Snow White): Used in winter months, evoking the serene beauty of snowfall.
Natsu (Blue): A summer-themed illumination reminiscent of cool water and clear skies.
